All goods supplied correctly from stock cannot be returned for a cash refund. An exchange or a credit note may be issued at our discretion providing the goods are returned unused & in their original unopened packaging & within 14 days of purchase. Goods ordered specially cannot be cancelled unless we are unable to obtain the goods within a reasonable period of time. If any item which has been ordered in specially is cancelled or returned a cash refund will not be given. A credit note may be issued at our discretion and a 25% handling charge will be levied for this.

Electrical items cannot be returned under any circumstances due to their nature & inability to test/check such items.

Proof of purchase will be required for any/all items returned

Gift vouchers:  Gift vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for a cash refund after voucher has been issued.

Mickey Oates Motorcycles Returns Policy For Motorcycle Purchases (We/Us: Mickey Oates Motorcycles   -   You: The Customer)   Distance Sales: Upon receipt of your vehicle it is imperative that you fully inspect its physical condition. Once you have signed to accept the vehicle we will, unfortunately, not accept liability for any damage which was not noted during your vehicles delivery. You have 14 days after delivery of the goods to cancel the order. If you wish to return your vehicle then we must be notified in writing within this 14 day period. Upon receipt of your request we will contact you to acknowledge receipt. Your vehicle must be returned to us within 14 days of your cancelation. This 14 day period will begin from the day we acknowledge your refund request. Your refund will be made within 14 days of the vehicle & all documentation including handbooks & keys being returned to us. This 14 day period will begin from the day we sign to accept return of the vehicle to our premises. To receive a full refund a maximum additional mileage of 100 miles from the recorded delivery mileage is allowed. If you cover any additional distance then an excess mileage charge of £1.00 per mile will be deducted from your final refund amount. Any delivery cost charged to you as part of your order will be fully refunded. However, you will be liable for the cost to return your vehicle to us. You are able to make your own arrangements for return of the vehicle but, in doing so, accept full liability for the vehicle until it is returned to us. Any damage caused to the vehicle will be deducted from your final refund amount and, in the case of any insurance claim being raised, no refund will be made until payout from the relevant insurance company has been made to us. No refund amount will be made until the vehicle has been inspected and signed for by a member of our team. If we intend to make any deductions from your final refund amount then you will be made aware of that amount prior to the refund.

 Consumer Rights Act 2015    If the vehicle you have purchased has a fault and the fault was there when you purchased it, you may be entitled to a refund if you make a request to return the vehicle back to us within 30 days of the purchase date. We may make a deduction from the refund price for "fair use” of the vehicle. You can return for a refund or we can repair the vehicle or we can replace the vehicle like-for-like .

A vehicle is described as being faulty if it meets one of three legal descriptions: 

1. If it's not of a satisfactory quality (meaning it's not as you would expect for a vehicle of its age, mileage and price range).

2. If it's not fit for purpose (for example, you were told that the vehicle is capable of doing something that it is not)

3. If it's not 'as described' (equipment listed in its advert is not present).
